The Surya Jyothi Yoga Vedanta Sadhana Gurukulam is a Non profit organization founded by Swami Krishnananda Saraswati to teach Yoga Vedanta to humanity with original teachings of Swami Sivananda and Swami Vishnudevananda. This is a project for great importance and benefit for the individuals involved self help motivation. The main vision of Mission is to focus individual's sadhana of Sadhakas and teach yoga and Vedanta to public to bring peace and health in humanity. The Gurukulam is a Self-Talented Sustained project where persons interested in leading a life centered on spirituality can offer their talents to the Gurukulam as a way of sustaining it. Individuals will be allowed to build cottages on the land where they can live while they are practicing Sadhana. Participants should be Motivated without having the Expectation of gaining any profit except spiritual developments.

The Gurukulam believes in allowing individuals to live a simple life as they chose with the motivation of high thinking. This should be focused around developing oneself spiritually. At the Gurukulam one will have access to the facilities that it offers such as the Yoga & Meditation hall, and the Temple. People living at the Gurukulam will have the choice and free-will to maintain their own spiritual development schedule. We only encourage Sattvic spiritual activities like Japa, meditation, Worships and common prayers. We follow the teachings of our Masters Swami Sivananda and Swami Vishnudevananda. The Gurukulam hopes to establish a small school and a health care center which can cater to the needs of the local people. Along with Prayers, Education and Health are important for bringing up the individuals for development.
